Intent
At Norbury CE Primary, we understand the crucial part that personal, social, health and economic education has to play in underpinning the critical development of our children's sense of themselves and understanding of their place in the world.
We use PSHE education to build children's knowledge and understanding of drug education, exploring emotions, being healthy, growing up, friendship and bullying, difference, diversity and their own uniqueness, being responsible and managing risk, money matters, sex and relationship education (SRE) and the importance of physical activity and diet for a healthy lifestyle.
Our teaching for SRE has been developed in consultation with parents and pupils.
