Competitions and Projects 

We believe in giving our fabulous children opportunities to shine beyond school.  This is part of our commitment to engaging with the world beyond Norbury and encouraging our children to give new things a go!  We are always delighted when our children achieve successes locally and nationally and children express pride and delight for their peers.  We value full participation and all children are commended for this.

Some of our recent and notable events are shown below.

Children from Heron Class contributed creative writing to a competition hosted by Denstone.  Children submitted a piece of fiction writing on the theme of 'The Gift'.  We were delighted to have three winning entries from Norbury, receiving a voucher and an invite to a summer garden party.

Our artist in residence submitting work for the Royal Academy summer exhibition, and we are pleased that both Freddie Braithwaite-Smith and James Hiles have had work selected for the exhibition.
