After school club is run by Jill Simpson. After school finishes, children have a chance to have a run and play on the field. Children are then escorted to the village hall for a snack comprising of a drink, crackers, fruit, sandwiches and cheese. Pupils are then given the opportunity to join in with an activity [child initiated] such as craft, board games, sport or play.
Afterschool club gives pupils the opportunity to wind down after a busy day at school while enjoying their time with peers.
Afterschool club runs from 3.15pm – 5.30pm. We hope that this service provides working parents with a simple and affordable opportunity for quality childcare.
You may use the service ad-hoc or book your place with Nicola in the office or Jill directly. Charges will be updated in Parentpay accounts on a weekly basis. Sibling reductions are put in place.
Afterschool is held in the village hall or the outdoor learning areas that Norbury offers.
All staff are first aid trained and hold a certificate in food hygiene.
While afterschool club is running there is always a member of staff on site to assist if the need should arise.
