We have been celebrating ‘Friendship Week’ (Norbury’s positive take on Anti-Bullying Week’). The children have taken part in various activities throughout the week, focussing on building our friendly behaviours within the theme ‘Change Start With Us’.
The Year Six children have learnt and invented some traditional playground games and taught them to the other classes, showing lots of patience and understanding!
Starling Class thought about the ingredients for a good friend, friendly and unfriendly behaviours and made a delicious friendship cake!
We worked with our friends to make some fabulous friendship bracelets at Forest School.
We enjoyed Odd Socks Day and discussed how we are all different but all equal. We made this fabulous video for the national Odd Socks competition to win a visit from Andy and the Odd Socks!
See our video on our twitter page by finding us @norburyprimary .
Children reviewed our anti-bullying policy and thought about what would help if they felt like people were being unkind or unfriendly towards them.
